Abstract
For the automatic in situ measurement of absorption spectra while employing a heat treatment, a cryostat and a spectrometer were improved so as to perform measurements over the wide temperature range of LNT-800degC. The experiment has confirmed the advantage of the present system for in situ measurements; a very intense absorption band in a KCl:Pb2+ crystal, for example, can be obtained under various heat treatments. Keywords
