Abstract
In electrical machines, the problem of vibration and noise reduction is assuming increasing importance. The accurate assessment of the resonance frequencies of the stator is essential in designing quiet electrical machines, since the coincidence between these frequencies and those of the exciting forces must be avoided. Keywords
