Abstract
Patients with monofixation syndrome having reduced stereoacuity were studied using the Titmus® Stereo Test and two forms of the Randot™ Stereo Test. The results show a difference in stereopsis in these patients when using the Randot™ 1 compared with Randot™ 2 and Titmus® . This difference is related to the fact that all of Randot™ 1 is a true random-dot stereogram while most of Randot™ 2 and Titmus® are non-random-dot stereograms. Random-dot stereograms are more difficult for patients with monofixation. It is important not to confuse the two forms of the Randot™ Stereo Test, for each has a unique purpose. Keywords
