Abstract
On long-term follow-up studies after irradiation of the renal areas for malignant tumor in infancy, 2 children were found to be hypertensive; aortograms showed hypoplasia of the abdominal aorta and renal artery stenosis. These findings suggest that radiation effects on the major blood vessels during the growth period may be of more serious consequence than has been supposed previously. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
