Abstract
Paired groups of 4 dairy cows were used to compare the utilization of B. inermis under rotational and strip grazing systems of management in 1953 and 1954. A practical system of using electric fencing for strip grazing was described. Yields were only slightly higher for both seasons under the strip grazing system and it was concluded that nearly all potential production from a pasture of this type was used under a good system of rotational grazing. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
