Abstract
The efficacy of fluconazole, a new bis-triazole antifungal agent, was compared with that of orally administered ketoconazole and parenterally administered amphotericin B against aspergillus and cryptococcus infections in mice. Fluconazole was 5–20-fold more active than ketoconazole against systemic aspergillosis and against systemic, intracranial and pulmonary cryptococcosis but was less active than amphotericin B.Keywords
