Abstract
The in vitro activity of formation of 2-deoxy-scyllo-inosose, the earliest intermediate of the 2-deoxystreptamine biosynthesis, was confirmed in the precipitate fraction obtained by 30-45% saturation of ammonium sulfate from the 15, 000×g supernatant of the sonicated Streptomyces fradiae IFO 13147 cells. Keywords
