Abstract

The provision of equipment maintenance services for life-saving apparatus such as d.c. defibrillators and patient monitors to the development of computer-controlled cobalt units for sophisticated radiotherapy and their interrelationship with whole-body computerised-tomography scanners are looked at as part of the range of scientific support services for the National Health Service
