Abstract
It is shown from an analysis of the propagation characteristics of a plane polarized wave in an artificial dielectric that Faraday rotation would be produced. Numerical results for n‐type InSb indicate that the rotation should be experimentally observable. Some practical applications of the phenomenon are suggested. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
