Crystallisation of Amorphous Metals Studied by Means of the EEE and DTA Techniques

Abstract
The temperature dependence of photostimulated exoelectron emission from metallic glasses has been investigated. The curves of the temperature dependence of the emission intensity display peaks at temperatures corresponding to the phase changes in the investigated materials. This makes exoelectron emission a very useful tool for detecting the phase transformations in metallic glasses.
