Abstract
Calculations of the electrical resistivity of liquid Fe, Co, Ni and Cu are reported using the single-site t matrix approximation. Inclusion of mean free path corrections to the resistivity integral in modified Ziman theory are shown to reduce the resistivity substantially for those liquid metals with very short mean free paths. An assessment is made of the relative importance of multiple scattering corrections to the single-site approximation for these liquid metals. Keywords
