Abstract
The production of virus-related RNA-dependent DNA polymerase, cell-associated mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV) antigens, and B particles by 5-iododeoxyuridine in C3H mouse mammary tumor cell cultures was enhanced by dexamethasone, a synthetic glucocorticoid hormone. This enhancement further implicates hormones in MMTV replication and provides the basis for an in vitro MMTV production system. Keywords
