Abstract
Well-preserved specimens of Globuligerina geczyi n. sp. were separated using concentrated acetic acid from indurated ''ammonitico rosso'' limestone of Gerecse Mountains, Transdanubian Central Range, Hungary. This planktonic foraminifera, of Late Hettangian or Early Sinemurian age is one of the earliest recorded.
