Abstract
A suitable variational wave function has been used to obtain the binding energy of the positronium molecule, a stable complex consisting of two electrons and two positrons. We find the binding energy of the complex to be 0.948 eV. This shows that the previous calculations estimated the binding energy of the complex an order of magnitude too low. Keywords
