Abstract
The goals of treatment of spine tumors should focus on: obtaining a definitive diagnoses through an appropriate biopsy or primary excision, institution of appropriate surgical or nonsurgical treatment as indicated by tumor type at the time of the initial procedure, preservation or restoration of normal neurologic function, and maintenance of spinal stability.Keywords
