Abstract
Results of non-relativistic and relativistic calculations of cross sections for elastic electron scattering from mercury at energies from 0.25 to 8 eV, both with and without inclusion of exchange effects, are presented. It is shown that the large differences between relativistic and non-relativistic results noticed by other authors is due to neglect of exchange. Keywords
