Abstract
Both the theory and practice of nursing require knowledge of problem solving. Nursing students need various models of problem solving to make effective nursing practice decisions. The authors of this article present Pridham, Hansen, and Conrad's Paradigm as an approach that gives nursing students a systematic means to solve problems and faculty a well-defined plan for teaching problem-solving skills. Keywords
