Abstract
By using the Hubbard tight-binding-type Hamiltonian and the cluster Bethe-lattice approximation we calculate for Fe the Curie temperature K and the temperature dependence of the magnetic moments and the magnetization. Moreover, we show how previous theories for itinerant magnets may be extended to include short-range spin correlations.
