Abstract
An equation is derived for the complete second approximation to the thermal conductivity of multicomponent gas mixtures. The result is found to be identical with an ``approximate'' formula for the thermal conductivity derived on the assumption that the thermal diffusion coefficients are negligibly small. Keywords
