Abstract
The medical care of injecting drug misusers presents many challenges. Though they can be awkward and unreliable they are at risk of serious medical conditions not often seen in the general population. This case report illustrates some of the difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with pyomyositis associated with heroin injection. Keywords
