Abstract
Isotopically labeled guanine was found to be incorporated to a small extent into both the tumor tissue and non-tumorous viscera of C57 black mice bearing tumor Eo771. This indicates an apparent species difference between the purine metabolism of the Sherman rat, which does not utilize guanine, and this strain of mouse.
