Abstract
The glycogen content of the liver (measured after a 24-hr. fasting period) was approx. the same in normal and in hypophysectomized dogs, (from 1-6 mos. post op.). The wt. of the thyroid decreased after hypophysectomy; however, the iodine content/g. of thyroid gland rose after hypophysectomy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
