Abstract
Five patients with Goodpasture''s syndrome complicated by a typical nephrotic syndrome are reported. All 5 patients had profound anemia, and changes in the optic fundi were found in 4. A transient severe coagulation defect was demonstrated in 1 patient. The clinical course of 3 other patients included episodes of major venous thrombosis. In 1 patient a dramatic improvement in the clinical and laboratory findings corresponded with the onset of steroid therapy but in 3 others the course of the disease was not affected by this therapy. Keywords
