Abstract
There is conflicting evidence on a possible adrenotropic action of chorionic gonadotropin (CG). We have recently found an adrenotropic action of CG in hypophysectomized male rats, but this action was mediated by the testes. We have now attempted to find whether CG had, in addition, a direct effect on the rat arenal; the data gave no indication of such an action. We believe, therefore, that the adrenotropic action of CG is confined to that mediated by the testes. Keywords
