Abstract
IN New England, physicians usually do not expect to discover that the underlying cause of a subcutaneous lump is a zoonotic filariasis, but their expectations may be enhanced by the following case report, which is believed to be unique in northern New England.Case ReportA 66-year-old woman noted a swelling above the right eye of one week's duration.
