Abstract
We have redetermined the crystal structure of [Pt]·3O. It crystallizes in space group , contrary to earlier assignments. The ions occupy ordered positions in layers with a periodicity of Å which are perpendicular to the axis. The same kind of superstructure was found for [Pt]·3O.
