Abstract
Various aspects of Meniere''s disease are reviewed, based on a series of 300 cases. There was operative intervention in 254 patients (section of vestibular branch-226, complete section of acoustic nerve-27, and freeing of nerve from adhesions-1). Complete freedom from dizziness followed the operation in all but 8 patients; 7 of the latter had bilateral Meniere''s disease. Tinnitus rarely disappeared. There was no operative mortality and few complications. Keywords
