Congenital Factor VII Deficiency Two Cases in Children of Cousins

Abstract
Two siblings with factor VII deficiency are described, whose parents are cousins. The factor VII levels of the parents and 32 other family members were determined. The parents and 17 other relatives were found to be heterozygotes. One patient (Case No. 1) had a post-operative pulmonary embolism. During her pregnancies, the prothrombin time values did not change.
