Abstract
An introduction to difficulties in measuring hill country pastures is given. A specific problem is described, and aspccts of sampling end measurement techniques which will be discussed in subsequent papers in this series are mentioned. In several lines of investigation, the point method of analysis has been used, and in this introductory paper, the equipment, point diameter, anil presentation of data appropriate to this method are considered.Keywords
