Abstract
Allassogonoporus vespertilionis is found in the small intestine of the bats, Eptesicus fuscus (Beauvois) and Myotis lucifugus (LeConte). Cercariae emerge from the sporo-cysts found in the snail. Fluminicola virens and invade and encyst in the hemocoele of the larvae of the caddis fly genus Limnophilus, Acanthatrium oregonense were recovered from the small intestine of the bat, Myotis lucifugus. The cercariae emerged from the sporocysts in the snail, Oxytrema silicula. The metacercariae develop without encysting in the hemocoele of the larval caddis fly genus Limnophilus. Macy''s description was amended to include an esophagus and a large V-shaped excretory bladder. Both spp. of metacercariae developed to adults within 6 days in the small intestine of the hamster; the first sp. in great numbers, Acanthatrium oregonense very sparingly.
