Abstract
The electron affinity (EA) of Be2 is computed using a large STO basis set and extensive correlation with a large CASSCF reference. The adiabatic electron affinities are estimated to be 0.44 eV for the 2∑+g state and 0.56 eV for the 2Πu state. Keywords
