Abstract
Fourteen cases of tuberculous meningitis and 2 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis in BCG vacinated children are reported. Their symptoms, clinical features, cerebrospinal fluid changes, and progress are discussed. Considering the large number of children who are being vaccinated with BCG in Singapore and the small number that develop tuberculosis, it can be concluded that BCG vaccination during the neonatal period provides considerable if not absolute immunity. Keywords
