Abstract
Our present day lack of knowledge of the physical factors involved in the selection of breeding-places by certain types of mosquitos is to be deplored. Just why certain species choose particular types of water for their oviposition is a matter about which there is much conjecture, but it is hoped that in the near future some light may be thrown upon this subject by taking into consideration various aspects of the question hitherto uninvestigated. Keywords
