Investigation of Copper(II) Chelate with Chromotropic Acid

Abstract
Copper(II)-chelate with chromotropic acid was investigated by potentiometric titration. The measurement have been carried out at 25.0±0.1°C and μ=0.10 (with KNO3). The acid dissociation constant of chromotropic acid, the formation constant of the 1 : 1 chelate (the molar ratio of ligand to copper(II) ion) and th hydrolysis constant of this chelate were determined.
