Abstract
Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of p-nitrobenzoate adsorbed on obliquely evaporated Ag films is considered. The anisotropic behavior of SERS of such films is discussed in relation with electron microscopy and optical studies of the samples. Experiments are interpreted on the basis of electromagnetic calculations of interacting cylinders. Keywords
