Abstract
ESR line width was measured in polythiophene heavily doped with ClO- 4 as functions of both temperature and frequency. We studied the dynamics of charge carrier with spin. The temperature dependence was explained by the Elliott mechanism, indicating the existence of metallic electrons. The frequency dependence demonstrated that electron spins are in the state of diffusive motion in quasi-one-dimension. These experimental results were interpreted in a consistent way, yielding the parameters characteristic of the electronic structure like effective mass and mean free path. Keywords
