Abstract
Simultaneous measurements of visually evoked transient magnetic and electric responses in man are reported. Responses evoked by both the appearance and disappearance of a checkerboard on a TV screen were measured using averaging techniques. Calculations, based on the magnetic data, show that the responses are generated in distinct regions of the visual cortex. Keywords
