Pankreatitis bei visceralem Lupus Erythematodes

Abstract
In a patient suffering from lupus erythematosus with terminal uremia a subacute pancreatitis running in remissions was noticed. Histologically it was a chronic sclerosing pancreatitis with cirrhosis and well advanced parenchymatous atrophy. Fibrinous and hyalinoid changes in the connective tissue and a proliferative exudative vasculitis of the blood vessels indicate the presence of a special type of pancreatitis which would be called a lupus pancreatitis analogous to other manifestations of the disease in various organs.
