Abstract
United States and Japanese applications data for titanate coupling agents discussed in this paper help broaden our understanding of a new technology for providing filler and nonextractable plasticizer functionality in polyolefins. Titanate coupling agents react with the filler surface resulting in the formation of nonextractable organic monomolecular layers providing compatabiliza-tion and a molecular bridge between the interface of the inorganic filler and the organic polyolefin matrix. Keywords
