Abstract
The performance of the Orion nitrate-selective electrode has been evaluated with respect to its working range, accuracy, precision, response time, and memory. The effects of temperature, type of reference electrode, and mode of operation have also been considered. The device makes possible the measurement of free nitrate activity with about the same accuracy as standard colorimetric methods, but with about the same ease as a pH measurement. Keywords
