Abstract
The changes with age in height, weight, skinfold thickness, bone development, and head circumference of children from birth through the fifth year of life are reported for three Guatemalan villages for the five years, 1959 to 1964. The children were observed during a longitudinal prospective study of the villages in which a nutrition program with supplementary feeding was introduced in one, environmental sanitation and preventive and curative medical services were introduced in a second, and the third served as a control. Keywords
