Abstract
In an experiment in the Fermilab 30-inch deuterium bubble chamber, we have determined the and charged-particle multiplicity distributions. We use corrected odd-prong distributions plus a no-cascade model to extract the and multiplicity distributions, and indicate how a cascade model could alter the distributions. We examine the relations between and , and and , multiplicity distributions. For each pair, a relation is found involving quantities that give the probability, at each multiplicity, that a struck proton remains a pro on. These quantities are evaluated and compared with expectations.
