Abstract
A new member of the Chrysophyceae, Mallomonas plumosa, is described from two lakes in Tasmania, Australia. The distinctive feature of the organism is an array of plume-bristles which radiate from a whorl of apical scales.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
