Abstract
The results of this double‐blind study showed that both chlormethiazole and temazepam are effective, in the correct dose, for the short‐term treatment of sleep disturbance in elderly patients. With chlormethiazole treatment there was no daytime drowsiness, whereas significant daytime drowsiness occurred with temazepam. Keywords
