Abstract
Report of expts. with weanling pigs fed for 17 weeks a corn, soybean oil meal diet supplemented with methionine, vitamins and minerals. Increased body gains of approx. 11% were obtained when the basal diet was supplemented with a crude source of vit. B12 supplying 1.05 mg. B12 per 100 lbs. of feed. Increased gains of approx. 22% were obtained when the basal diet was supplemented with either 0.5% sulfathalidine or with B12 and streptomycin.Keywords
