Abstract
This paper assesses the performance of a wavelength converter based on cross-gain modulation in quantum-dot semiconductor optical amplifiers in an interferometer. Patterning-effect free wavelength conversion is achieved with no extinction ratio degradation at 160 Gbit/s.Keywords
