Abstract
Patients (20) with ureteral gunshot wounds were treated. Among the 19 patients treated surgically, 4 unrelated deaths occurred and 3 patients underwent a 2nd exploration. No kidney was lost. The surgical technique involving a tension-free, watertight anastomosis and diversion was emphasized. Better results were obtained with stented repairs. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
