Abstract
A new species of Pergalumna (Oribatei, Acari) was found to feed (in all stages except larval) on both saprophytic and plant-parasitic nematodes. It is suggested that the normally saprophytic oribatids may constitute an important reglator of soil nematode populations. Keywords
