Abstract
The proteins of the Norwalk virus were studied by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Highly purified specifically immunoprecipitated virions appeared to contain a single primary structural protein with a MW of 59,000. A soluble Norwalk viral protein with a MW of 30,000 was identified in (human) fecal specimens containing Norwalk virus. The protein structure of the virion is similar to that of the Caliciviridae family. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
