Abstract
Lifetimes of the low-lying levels of have been studied using the reaction. The half-life of the 52-keV level was measured to be μsec, which implies a for an transition to the ground state. A comparison of this result with shell-model calculations implies effective charges for the unpaired nucleons of . Half-life limits from hindrances were observed.
